Le terme Haar veut dire cheveu en allemand mais aussi lin dans son ancienne forme. Le lin a toujours été lié dans l’imaginaire à l'idée du cheveu d’où les termes : peigné, tressé, mèche, etc… L'installation est constituée de longues mèches de ruban de lin tombant sur le sol pour créer un univers où le spectateur est immergé dans la matière et en proie aux analogies et à la symbolique de l’eau, la mort, la femmme.

Ribbon of flax (1 km), staples
Haar means hair in German but also flax in his old form. The flax was always linked in the imaginary with the idea of hair: combed, braided, wick, etc. The installation is made up long wicks of ribbon of flax falling on the ground to create a universe where the spectator is immersed in the material and in the grip of analogies in a symbolic system between water, death, and the woman.
